A classic Jacob Delafon Antique Cast Iron Bath

Style: Antique French, large sized, 5ft 8 inches long, 2ft 6.5 inches wide, 2ft 1 3/4 inches to the floor, single ended, rolled edged lovely deep cast iron bath. No overflow or tap holes. The French antique baths do tend to be deeper than their equivalent English bath.

Beautiful single ended bath manufactured by Jacob Delafon in the late 1800’s. Every Delafon bath had its model number cast into its exquisite feet. This is model number 14. A fantastic looking bath and amazing feet. The intervening 120 or so years has not diminished the natural beauty and quality of this bath.

This bath has been restored in our workshop. Therefor it has had a lot of work time and care put into the exterior of the bath as well as the interior. This sort of restoration work can only really be carried out at the workshop. You can see from the pictures hopefully that the outside of the bath has been made to look very smooth and shiny. Almost an impossible effect to achieve on an original antique bath.

We can make bespoke standpipes for this bath which would look stunning and also ensure the exact length. Also we can team the bath and standpipes up with original antique French bath taps for a truly classical look.
